Homemade Apple Pie Spice Recipe

A spice mix that is just made for anything with apples; pies, apple crumbles, apple muffins, apple cobbler... you get the idea. Try some it will elevate all your apple cooking.

Equipment

  • 1 measuring spoons
  • 1 small bowl
  • 1 spice jar or a suitable sealed container to store the spice in
  • 1 label a way of labelling the contents of the spice jar

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon cinnamon ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg ground or grate your own from a nutmeg fr the freshest flavour
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger ground
  • 3/4 teaspoon cardamon ground or grind your own

Instructions

  • Measure all the ingredients into a small bowl and stir to thoroughly combine.
    2 tablespoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon allspice, 1/2 teaspoon ginger, 3/4 teaspoon cardamon
  • Add to a small airtight container to maintain freshness.
  • Label the jar so that you know what the contents are.
