Using just 4 ingredients Peanut butter chocolate chip cookie recipe is going to help you to create your favourite cookie. This is such an easy recipe to make, no fuss, no bother and little washing up. They can be baked straight away (no waiting for the dough to chill) and are ready in 20 minutes.
Add all the ingredients to the mixing bowl and stir thoroughly to combine. If making with a mixer, add the peanut butter, egg and sugar and process. Then add the chocolate chips and stir them in. (Prevents the chocolate getting too broken up.)
Line the baking sheet with baking parchment and roll 2 tablespoon scoops of dough into balls in your hand. Place on the baking sheet.
Flatten the dough slightly with your hands to make a nice circular cookie shape. If you want to decorate them a little bit use any extra chocolate chips and push them carefully into the top of the cookies. (sprinkle a little flaked sea salt on top if you love that sweet, salty vibe.)
Place in the middle of the oven and set the oven timer for 10 minutes.
The cookies are done when they've a little bit of colour around the edges.
Remove from the oven and allow them to cook slightly for a few minutes as they are fragile when they first come out of the oven.
Move to a cooling tray and allow them to cool completely.
